Kareena Kapoor was born September 21, 1980, often informally known as Bebo, is an actress who appears in the Indian Bollywood movies. During his career, Kapoor has received six Filmfare awards and has been shown in his performances of different genres, and these are the work of his contemporary dramas and romantic comedies, period films Bollywood's big production, and less advertising for independent films.
Born in Mumbai, India, September 21, 1980, the Kapoor film family, Kapoor is the youngest daughter of actors Randhir Kapoor and Babita (née Shivdasani), his elder sister, Karisma Kapoor, is also an actress. She is the granddaughter of actor and director Raj Kapoor, granddaughter of actor Prithviraj Kapoor and niece of actor Rishi Kapoor. According to Kapoor, the name "Kareena" derives from the book Anna Karenina, her mother read during her pregnancy with her. Often, the informal name of Bebo, which is of Punjabi Khatri on the side of his father and his mother's side, she is Sindhi.
As a child, she had a strong desire to become an actor, and was particularly inspired by watching movies of Bollywood actresses Nargis and Meena Kumari. Kapoor, who describes himself as a "very bad [and] the spoiled child" would often dress in clothes from her mother and performing in front of the mirror. Despite his family background, his father disapproved of women in the profession that works because 'he thought as opposed to traditional maternal duties and responsibilities of women in the family. This led to a conflict between her parents and resulted in Kapoor's mother leaves home with her daughters. After the separation of her parents, she was Lokhandwala raised by his mother who worked several jobs to support her daughters until Karisma made her debut as an actor in 1991. In an interview with Vir Sanghvi said Kapoor, who grow up in a household full of women has helped to become strong and independent.
After the reconciliation of their parents in October 2007, Kapoor said that "never officially divorced ... [but] ... Liv [d] separately." Asked about the relationship she shared with her father, Kapoor says: "My father is ... a major factor in my life. [Al], if not often seen in our early years, we are a family."
